Introducing The CG Shortcuts C4D Toolkit
An ever-growing collection of handy tools to speed up your Cinema 4D workflow.
TOOLKIT
What's Inside The Toolkit
Every command lives under the CG Shortcuts menu in Cinema 4D — modeling helpers, animation utilities, material shortcuts, and scene tools. More are added over time.
Finally an easy way to toggle C4D scene dynamics on and off - the most asked for feature of all time! Map it to your shortcuts keys for faster dynamics workflow.
Quickly parents selected objects under new nulls in one step.
Renames parent objects using the name of the selected child.
Splits multi-line MoText into separate text objects, one per line.
Fills all text objects from a list you configure inside the script.
Same as above, using a comma-separated string for quick swaps.
Moves a parent selection and its entire hierarchy onto a new layer.
Adds a ClothGen generator to your scene for fast cloth setups - low res proxy, thickness, bevel and UVs built in.
Adds a Match Size tag to selected objects — match scale and/or position to a reference or target size.
Shifts keyframes on selected animated objects — handy for offsets and loops.
Converts Redshift materials to Cinema 4D Standard materials.
Exports a .txt scene report or prints stats to the Console.

Install, Licence & Troubleshooting
Common questions about downloading, activating, and using the toolkit on multiple machines.
Download the installer for Windows (.exe) or Mac (.zip) from this page while signed in with a yearly or lifetime membership. Run the installer and follow the prompts — it places the plugin in your Cinema 4D plugins folder. Restart Cinema 4D, then open Extensions → CG Shortcuts (or the CG Shortcuts menu, depending on your C4D version).
After installing, use CG Shortcuts → Account → Sign In inside Cinema 4D. Sign in with the same cgshortcuts.com account you used to download. The plugin registers this computer as one of your two allowed devices.
Confirm you are on a supported Cinema 4D version, restart C4D after installing, and check that only one copy of the plugin exists in your plugins folder. If sign-in fails, verify your membership is yearly or lifetime and still active, then try signing out and back in from the plugin menu. For persistent issues, post in Help & Support with your C4D version and OS.
Your licence key allows up to two active machines at once across all membership plugins and apps. Open your account on the website, go to the Licence Key tab, and remove a registered device to free a seat before activating on another computer. Yearly members need an active subscription; lifetime members keep access without renewal.
No. Membership plugins and apps are licensed for your personal use on up to two registered devices combined. Sharing installers, account credentials, or bypassing device limits is not permitted. See /terms-apps for full details.
By installing the plugin you agree to the Membership Apps Terms of Use.
