Cloth Tear Transition in Cinema 4D and Redshift

This one is for Ricardo who wanted to know how to create a cloth ripping / tearing transition where an outer skin rips away in pieces to reveal an object underneath.

Let me know if you need a tutorial for this one, I intended to make one but have been prety busy with freelance work lately.

I'll leave some pointers below on how to set it up and attach the 4 different example setups for now.
