Abstract Squishy Balloons in C4D – swirling squishy balloons with the new cloth system in Cinema 4D.
This Project File was requested by Jeffrey (one of our awesome Members) who was trying to create something similar to whats seen in the Muz TV spot by Loop Studio.

It’s a simple technique in Cinema 4D anyway, here’s how to set it up:
- Use a Sphere or any other object you’d like to use (hexahedron type works good).
- Clone the spheres into a grid and add randomization if needed, make sure none are touching eachother.
- Give the Cloner a Cloth Dynamics tag and make it super stretchy – super soft in softbody settings as well.
- Put the clones in a big cube container and make it a collider (so the spheres squish up against the side).
- Remove gravity and make the spheres inflate to begin with.
- Draw a path showing the direction you’d like the spheres to travel in.
- Use the path to drive a Field Force.
